This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Public Health's Department of Health, Department of Disease Control, and Department of Mental Health . The primary goal is to enhance Health Literacy (HL), enabling individuals to understand, evaluate, and apply health information to their daily lives through two-way communication, particularly within Health Literate Organizations (HLO) such as workplaces and schools . Health Service: Details patient rights, medical information sharing, and emergency protocols . Environmental Health: Addresses sanitation, clean air, and waste reduction . Mental Health: Focuses on stress management, life goals, and suicide prevention . Key Health Guidelines by Theme Nutrition and Lifestyle: Citizens are encouraged to eat foods low in sugar, oil, and salt, drink 6–8 glasses of water daily, and achieve age-specific activity targets (e.g., 10,000 steps for workers) . It emphasizes avoiding tobacco and alcohol while maintaining oral hygiene and adequate sleep . Maternal and Child Health: The guidelines recommend an ideal pregnancy age of 20–30, exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months, and strict screen time limits (no smartphones/tablets for children under 2) . Essential developmental screenings are required at 9, 18, 30, and 42 months . Safety and Emergency Response: Public safety measures include wearing helmets/seatbelts and understanding drowning rescue (the "Shout, Throw, Reach" method) . In medical emergencies, such as stroke signs or cardiac arrest, the public is instructed to perform CPR and call 1669 . Elderly Care: Focus is placed on mental brightness through socialization, monitoring for depression, and adapting home environments (e.g., proper lighting and grab bars) to prevent accidents . Implementation and Impact These messages are disseminated through printed materials, websites, and HLO networks . By fostering an environment where individuals can exchange health knowledge, the program aims to reduce the burden of chronic diseases and improve the overall quality of life across all age groups in Thailand
